How Can A Blister On An Injured Finger Be Treated?

Eight days ago, I sliced into the pad of my little finger moving a broken wall mirror, a very heavy one. It was a very deep cut that bled a lot. I didn t get stitches, but I see something between the finger and the skin that was sliced. Also, I now have what looks like a blister in the middle of the finger, not near the cut or a few scratches. The finger is slightly more swollen than the other one.

Hi,

I think your finger got infected. You can clean it well with soap and water. Use an antibiotic ointment like tetracycline. Put a sterile bandage over it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
