Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I broke my knuckle and didn’t get it treated properly. Now it’s healed in the wrong position. I can still move my finger as well as my opposite one but it’s not nice to look at. It’s over a year since this happened but I was just wondering is it to late to fix this or can something be done that’s not to costly. Thanks.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you had got your extra movements after broken knuckle then it's very good for you than getting it repaired. Believe me if you go for repair and if any complication occurs then you will have to suffer.
Aand even this is not clear that after repair you will feel better than before. So now, if its just odd look is the concern then I suggest not to worry at all.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
