How Can A Bruise On The Forearm Be Treated?

I developed a bruise today on my right inside forearm in just a matter of two hours. I didn t bump it or hit it with anything and there is no pain, it is 1.5 long and1.25 wide. it is also black , blue and yellow in color about .25 in height, I only noticed it when someone mentioned that there was blood on my forearm and shirt.I was bleeding from a pin sized hole in the center. It was taller in height than it is now. I put a cold compress on it to take down the swelling. Did I have a rupture in a vein or blood vessel?

hi sir/madam,it might probably be due to some unnoticed trauma. Most bruises are not a cause for concern and will go away on their own.bruises heal, usually within 2 to 4 weeks.Bruises develop when small blood vessels under the skin tear or rupture, most often from a bump or fall. Blood leaks into tissues under the skin and causes the black-and-blue color.dont worry as it heals by itself.only if the following symptoms appear, have a physician consultation:recurrent bruisingat many sites without any apparent trauma, severe pain on the bruise site(may be a fracture).sudden increase in the frequency of bruising may be caused by:
A medicine, such as aspirin or blood thinners (anticoagulants),a bleeding or clotting disorder, such as hemophilia, von Willebrand's disease, thrombocytopenia.take care.bye.
