How Can A Bruised Thigh Be Treated?

Hi, Thank you for taking my message. I fell off my bike last week and landed on my side. I developed this large bruise on my thigh with a large bump that feels warm to the touch. I have been applying hot and cold compresses for several days and massaging it but it doesn t seem to be going away. Should I go see the doctor?

Hi,

The bruise you developed on your thigh with a large bump that feels warm to the touch is accumulated blood after trauma that is infected.

You should take oral antibiotics, but need prescription for this.
Should also apply heparin gel locally. Consult with your physician to get the prescription meds.

Keep applying hot and cold compresses locally.

Wish fast recovery.
