Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You can apply ice pack to help the swelling/bump to come down. Take him to the pediatrician only of he develops irritability, excessive crying, increased or decreased sleep, or vomiting. You can also give him infant Tylenol to prevent pain. The dosage will depend on his weight. So call his doctor or nurses line to see what dosage is right for your baby.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
