I have a callus on my left foot. Itis located on the ball of my foot under the last two toes .I have been told there is nothing that can be done to correct the problem. Told if removed it will grow back. How long,as I am going to be 80?. Hammertoes was another diagnosis. It is like walking on a stone. HELP Al Mickel
Hi. As per your case history of callus, my treatment advice is - 1. Wear soft footwear to avoid pressure on callus. 2. Apply a salicylic acid plus lactic acid lotion like Salactin paint on the affected part once daily. 3. Use a pumice stone once a week for scrapping the callus.
The above treatment for 8-10 weeks will help you to cure the callus.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
