How Can A Plantar Wart Be Treated?

My daughter has a planter wart covered with a large callus. I took her to her doctor and she said to try to scrap the callus off the best she could and then treat it with an over the counter wart remover. She did a great job getting the callus off but now the wart is bleeding and won t stop? What should I do to stop the bleeding?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is common to get bleeding after removal of wart. Apply pressure gauge and plaster it properly. Ask her to keep the leg elevated, give her rest, add antibiotics and pain killer to decrease the pain and inflammation, and give her vitamin C tablets.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
