How Can A Child Experiencing Painful And Stuffy Nose After Vomiting Be Helped?

My daughter drank a glass of water really fast during dinner, kinda gave a burp/gag then puked. It was all watery, but now her nose is all stuffy and she says it hurts badly to blow and her eyes are all watery. Puke did come out her nose. She is 4. No fever and has been fine all day. Could something get stuck in her nose from vomiting

Pediatrician 's  Response
With given scenario its unlikely that something could have stucked inside the nose as she did not have any vomitus through nose. Well because watery nature mild irritation of nasal mucosa is possible. Any antihistaminic like syrup promethizine or zedex p with phenylephrine will be good enough for 3 days. It would give symptomatic relief. Look for any voice change or foul smelling nasal discharge as pointers towards any forigen body inside nose.
