How Can A Concussion After Traumatic Blows To The Head Be Treated?
I was assaulted by a woman who was not quite right in her mind on May 27, 2016. She grabbed hold of the hair on either side of my head and took it dow to the floor and proceeded to bang it against the wall and a pillar. I did no pass out, but I have been suffering ever since with a feeling like I am standing on a boat and the waves are moving the boat up and down. It feels like a bouncing sensation. How can I get rid of this? Do I need to go to a doctor? Thank You.
In my opinion, you will need to see a doctor to rule out any internal or external injury to head even though it happened years ago. It is always crucial to take an X-ray or CT of the head to rule out skull injuries like hairline fracture which is very common post trauma and even to look for any bleed inside or outside the brain. Apart from that, a detailed physical examination like testing your gait, cranial nerves, the ear canal is required to draw a conclusion to the cause of floating sensation you are feeling.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Ayesha Shareef,
