How Can A Deviated Cervix Be Treated?

My 32 year old daughter just called me in tears after here Pap smear. Her doctor wants to put in an IUD for a deviated crevix. She & her husband adopted 2 little girls, she has not ever pregnant and they do not plan to be. My question is, will it help her? She has very bad cramps.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No, IUD (intrauterine device) will not help in treating deviated uterus.
And her cramps are mostly due to IUD.
So better to remove IUD.
If she really wants to treat deviated uterus then surgical correction is the only option.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
