Hi! I m getting surgery done in 2 weeks for a deviated septum and i was wondering if it would be okay to use cannabis for pain relief afterword. Also will it be okay to take vyvanse after the surgery as needed for adhd? And finally when would I be able to have intercourse and drink alcohol after the surgery? Thanks!
You should stop smoking Marijuana the day before surgery. Marijuana can cause increased respiratory secretions which is not ideal during anesthesia. After surgery, it is ok to use cannabis. However, smoking weed can induce cough which can increase bleeding. It is better to do avoid Vyvanse, alcohol and having sex for a week after surgery. All these can elevate blood pressure and cause bleeding after surgery.
