General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for putting your query over here.
In your case, even if you had a full vaccination course in the past, you need to be given 2 doses of Rabipur vaccine now on day 0 and day 3.Most important part is local wound treatment.
Secondly, would like to know how is the dog?Whether the dog bite was provoked or unprovoked?Does the dog seems ill?
If dog is observable, observe the dog for next 7 days since bite if it stays healthy or becomes ill.
You will need to take the full 5 dose course again in case if you are on anti malarial, corticosteroids, immunosuppressive state or if you are an chronic alcohol drinker.
May I ask what your occupation is to rule out repeated occupational exposure .
Thanks and regards.
