How Can A Dog Bite Be Treated?

Hello, I was bitten by my pet dog about a month ago. I cleaned the wound and went to the doctor who prescribed me the standard 5 dose vaccine regimen. I took all doses on time, however my fifth dose has been delayed by almost 5 or 6 days as I am feeling slighly numb in my legs. Can i still take it or will i need another booster after that. And besides, my dog is healthy so should I take it at all?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think there is no need of more medication. It is sufficient. If there is no more complication, don't worry. Try to give vaccine your dog time to time. Is a better precaution

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
