My husband has a small fracture in is left wrist .It happened 10 days ago .He refused to go to ER. Saw his Nephrologist. She sent him to the ER. He as an immobilizer on it He keeps his hand and wrist elevated. But his hand it continues to be swollen How can he decrease the swelling?????

Stabilise the fracture and start OTC pain killers and ice application to decrease the swelling and please check that whatever method use for immobilization should not be too much tight which also can lead to swelling and keep the hand elevated.
