Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I broke my humerus in 3places,taking Percocet 7.5 with tylonol in it. I am itching like crazy. Have been taking a half of Benadryl with each does. I am 70 had a very bad fall. Pain is also from fibromyalgia. I do not see anything here that helps with inflammation. I am still always in pain.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear you had a humeral fracture. The treatment of humeral fracture like any other fracture depends on the nature of the fracture(whether simple or complex). An X ray of the humerus would help in the treatment option. However, as for the pain that comes with fractures, different line of pain drugs are prescribed depending on pain intensity.I will suggest you continue with tylenol(pain/antiinflammatory drug).Since pain unbearable, your may add tramadol. It will be wise you see an Orthopedic surgeon for your fracture management. Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns Wish you a speedy recovery
