I have a growth on my back located on my right shoulder blade it is about the size of my small fist and another on wing part of shoulder which is twice as large, although they are not painful they are uncomfortable. I have been experiencing increased appetite however I feel the food I eat not enough does not fill me. Shortness of breath and a sharp pain and discomfort in right lung, random dissiness and nausia.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The growth on your back could be due to any fatty tumor (lipoma) or any bone indent. You should get it examined by your physician first. Next, increased appetite with the feeling of not filling enough food could be related to possible hormonal changes (thyroid) or any stomach hyper-acidity problems.

Sharp pain and discomfort in the right lung associated with nausea, could be due to acid reflux. However, upper endoscopy and chest X-ray are needed to determine the right diagnosis.

Random dizziness could be due to sharp changes in blood pressure or sugar levels. Should get them monitored, and record the results for reference. Have frequent meals with small portions. Take antacids after eating.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
