How Can A Haemorrhoid Be Treated?

Hello, I had a hemorrhoid flare since early August that got really bad really quickly for some reason. I didn t have insurance then and so I couldn t get it checked out. Now I have insurance and could have it checked out. I happen to be gay and enjoy receptive sex. I m worried that any procedure would ruin any chances of ever enjoying that? I also live in Africa and don t think I should even think about asking the doctor about that. What do you think?

hello welcome to healthcaremagic.

please be ensured that no procedure will interfere in your pleasure.

hemorrhoids are best examined by proctoscopy, which will not make any changes or cause you any discomfort.

i would suggest you to get yourself examined and get treated asap as hemorrhoids is a very severe disease.

i would also like to rule out diagnosis of HIV/anal fissure/ solitary rectal ulcer syndrome/ gay bowel disease in your case.

i hope this helps you.
please feel free to revert back in case of any doubts/concerns.
hope for your good health.
thank you.
