Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
One year old grandson has a raised area of his forearm. It is hard underneath, and looks as though there are a few insect bite marks (not sure). He does not have a fever and has not paid attention to the area through looking at it or scratching. It is not hot to the touch.
It could be a collection of blood or even a cyst. We need to examine it for making a diagnosis. You should take him to a physician as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
Ophthalmologist
