General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Head injury management depends upon the symptoms, clinical severity evaluation by clinician and other parameters as radiological findings. As there is cut he requires:
Tetanus toxoid injection
• Dressing of the local part
• BP, oxygen saturation measurement
• Transient concussion, disorientation may persist for 24 to 48 hours, beyond that CT brain recommended
• Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids
• Watch for vomiting, vertigo, wound bleeding, bleeding from nose, ear, mouth, altered sensorium, convulsions then immediately take him to ER without delay

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
