How Can A Keloid Scar On The Ear Be Treated?
Hello Doctor, I am From Chennai ,age 42 yrs old mail. I have a kelloid on my left ear which started 2013. I am looking fro a permanent solution . Some doctors says if I gofor surgery it may go grow again. I contacted few International doctors they Cryotherapy is the best . What should I do. ??

Keloids are benign fibrous growths that occur after trauma or wounding of skin. Keloidal scars extend beyond the original wound and spread by invasion rather than expansion. After removal most often tend to occur.
Cryosurgery, has been found to be a better method in treating keloids, particularly those which are of recent origin. Older ones do not respond so well or may recur. So you may try that option. Thanks.
