How Can A Ligament Tear In The Foot And Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

My friend has had several weird health issues. She tore a ligament in her foot about a year ago, she’s had severe left sided abdominal pain, significant weight loss, hair loss, “tears” in her hip and back. She just retore the ligament in her foot. they have done several blood tests including autoimmune disease , CT scans, ultrasounds, checked gallbladder, colonoscopy and now she’s trying to get insurance approval for an MRI. Been online looking up connective tissue disorders but none seem to fit the bill. Any ideas???

Hello,

Is your friend finding out any problem to fit the bill out? I don't know it's looking very weird to me that the way history is explained and doesn't fitting to any of the possible diagnosis. Yes, the autoimmune disease usually has varied symptoms and manifestation but you say everything else is worked up. If I were her treating physician then first I would have examined her to know any etiology which is not possible in this context.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
