Hello,
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Liver abcess is a serious condition and if this much pus is present, we have only 2 options, antibiotics or drainage. Course of antibiotics is usually 3-4 weeks. Sometimes drainage suffices and sometimes a catheter has to be put in. Fever will continue as its pus in your liver.
Please comply with your doctor's advice and adhere to treatment. Otherwise complications can occur.
I hope I answered your query. Please do ask if you have any other question.
