How Can A Medical Abortion Be Confirmed To Be Successful?
Hello sir my gf had taken 2 tabs of misoprost-200 orally ... After taking tabs she bleeds and at night pain in abdominal and blood clots comes all night and bleeding continued.. Next day 2 tabs of misoprost inserted in but bleeding continues and no clots come out only a liquid comes out.... Is it a successful abortion or not...

Misoprostol alone not used for medical termination..Usually mifepristone given first that will dislodge embryo and than misoprostol taken after 72 hour so that it will be followed by bleeding and expulsion of products of conception
USG than done to look for successful abortion
