How Can A Monkey Scratch On The Eye Lid Be Treated?
My daughter aged 17 yrs got a monkey scratch on her right eye lid. A reddish mark occurred. But after 4 days to mark got blackish and vanished. Do there any chance for rabies infection. Do I need to administer her rabies vaccination?? Please suggest??

Rabies is not as common as it used to be. The red mark after trauma is normal, so is the subsequent discoloration and healing.
There seems to be a normal response to the scratch mark. She does not likely need any vaccination.
Also vaccination would have been needed to be done before this point to be effective.
