How Can A Pain And Swelling In The Testicle Be Treated?

Hello I have been diagnosed with a 5mm Epididymal cyst which over the last few weeks has enlarged, I had the ultrasound when experiencing groin pain, the doctor could find nothing other than the cyst and thought it was muscular, but my entire right testicle feels swollen now, the cyst is very painful and im having trouble sitting down. ive got an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, but happenned on this site, thought worth asking. Age 46, height 180cm, weight 89kg

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

As per your history it seems to me that you are having a epidemic infection or cystic infection.

You need to take antibiotics like doxicycline for a week in consultation with your doctor.

You can also need to wear soft and relatively tight underwear. If there is too much pain you must take medication for that like Ibuprofen but take medicine only after consulting your doctor.
