How Can A Painful And Swollen Supraclavicular Lymph Node Be Treated?

Hi, I have swollen supraclavicular lymph node above my right collarbone (movable and sore to touch and when I move my neck) this has only become apparent over the past week. Last week I had my haircut and the guy shaved my neck with a cut throat razor. The area on my neck where he shaved is about 1 inch behind where the swollen lymph nodes are and this shaven area developed several spots which became pussy and looked like acne. They have cleared up now but still 1 left very itchy and tender. Should I be concerned? Is the swollen supraclavicular nodes a result of the spots? Thanks in advance. Regards Sam

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a reactive lymph node.
It is probably caused by an infection passed recently.
It will go away on its own in time so dont worry.
