My mother slipped on ice and fell on her backside on stairs. Nothing happened until the next morning where she found an immense bruise. It looks horrible. It’s black and purple. She says everytime she put pressure on it, she has pain. Like putting on pants. She also has trouble sitting down. She says it will be fine but I don’t buy it. She refuses to go to the doctor. What should we do?
