How Can A Painful Haemorrhoid Be Treated?

I have a fluid filled sack in my anus. It’s very painful. I can feel it moving around when I move around. It’s itchy. Is it ok to try to break it? My bf said he’ help me, but I don’t want it to get infected. It just became noticeable suddenly tonight and I can’t sleep.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per the narration, this seems to be infected Perianal boil or abscess, rather than Hemorrhoid.

I strongly recommend you to immediately consult your family doctor, rather than self-treating as this may create the odd issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
