Hi In Texas I received an insect bite on the inside of my forearm that caused a slight electrical shock up to my elbow. Other than that it was painless. The next morning there was a painless silver dollar size scarlet red circle around a small white bite. Over a few days, it gradually disappeared, with no after effect Lew cornelius
Hi. As per your case history you are having granuloma annulare at insect bite site. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesion twice daily. 3. Other treatment options are oral vitamin E, topical tacrolimus given only after consulting a dermatologist.
