How Can A Penile Infection Be Treated?

Hello , i have a penis infection maybe from sexualy transmitted bacterias and the doctor gave me BASSADO antibiotic wish contains DOXICICLINA , and im a heavy weed smoker , but ive stopped for the first 4 days to heal quickly and it worked my burning sensation when peeing is gone , my swealling and fluid discharge stopped ! And today i smoked again ! My question is will it make me re-infected again by lowering the antibiotic effect wish.can let the bacteria to spread again ?? Or its only a delay in the healing process like mentionned everywhere ??

The doctor has prescribed antibiotics to treat the infection.

Smoking weed during the course of treatment could lower the efficacy of the antibiotics and might not cure the infection completely.

Also, it may confer antibiotic resistance, which could be difficult to treat if it is reinfected.

Kindly abstain from smoking weed till the course of treatment is complete with proper follow-up with your doctor.

Maintain good personal hygiene and take proper measures of protection to prevent such infections from happening.
