General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Acute balanitis has to be managed with
1. Thorough antiseptic wash of foreskin and penis daily
2. Precise antibiotic as penicillin or else according to the clinical decision,
anti inflammatory and anti fungal medicines
3. Hydration with plenty of liquids

In later stage, due consideration of circumcision may be required to prevent recurrent balanitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
