How Can A Perineal Tear In An Infant Be Treated?

My 6 month old has a slight tear or opening between vagina and anus. Went to see surgeon because pediatrician thought it was fasicular ( not sure that is the name) however she said she is not sure what it is a referred is to see another set of doctor. She has no discomfort, it has never changed in size or bled.. any thoughts?

dear it may be perineal groove or duplication of anal canal etc.. it is difficult to say until examination is done.please consult pediatrician surgeon he may advice ultrasound and treat you accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
