How Can A Persistent Bump On The Chest Be Treated?

I have had a bump on my chest for years and am female. It always resembled something similar to a pimple. Anytime I tried to mash on it nothing came out. I haven t done this lately but it has started to feel closer to the skin. I tried to push on it and a large amount of what I would describe as thick, white and pasty with a bad odor came out. It has repetetively come out about four times. This has concerned me some so I wanted to see what explanation you might have.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests that you have sebaceous cyst over the chest.

I recommend getting surgery of the same under local anesthesia from your family surgeon to cure it for life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
