General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that if you think that you got the rash because of the nicotine patch, then you may have to get it removed as it is causing an allergic reaction which will not go away unless the source is eliminated. Secondly, Oxistat is an antifungal cream and would not help in your situation. You will need to apply a steroid cream like Betamethasone. If it doesn't go away even after that you must get yourself checked by a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman
