How Can A Red Bump On The Labia Minora Be Treated?
I have one red bump on my labia minor. It does not itch or it does not hurt. It does seem it s getting larger as the days go by. I have noticed vaginal discharge too. It is white. A few days ago found a thick white discharge and today it is more white watery discharge. My last period was May 27th. I am beginning to freak out. Help!
You are describing probably what is a Bartholin Cyst. If that is the case, it usually never pains unless it gets infected or increases in size gradually. Kindly do sitz bath - sit in medium hot water, for the same and you should be fine.
The white discharge, usually is a normal finding in a female genital tract. It can increase if you're about to have a period. it is considered excess if it stains your undergarment.
coming to your situation, if it is smelling too much or you find it too disturbing then kindly get it checked. it may be a vaginal infection due to candidiasis, vaginosis, trichomoniasis etc. It has a good prognosis with CandidB vaginal cream to antifungals like clotrimazole 100mg for five days or Single 500mg dose once.
Since these drugs need a prescription kindly visit a docotrs and let them confirm the diagnosis.
