Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I thought I had an ovarian cyst rupture on 10/22 but my pain and tenderness is not going away. The pain fluctuates. It s not as sharp of a pain as it was on Sunday, but I have not had any discharge to account for the rupture. I wonder if this is a common symptom of a cyst, or should I be concerned that I don t feel better after two days? I only think it was a cyst rupture because the last time I had similar pain a CT scan showed bloods, so my doctor assumed it was an ovarian cyst rupture, but now I m not so sure.
Hello, It is not necessary that you have the same condition that you had previously. It could be normal mid cycle pain or it could be a urinary symptom. I would suggest that you get an ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis done that would show if there is a cyst or fluid in relation to the ovaries. Hope you feel better. Kindly rate the answer :)
