How Can A Sexually Transmitted Infection Be Diagnosed?

Here s how I get the STI. Got an unprotected sex and the following 2 days to another woman. That other woman got her menstrual period for a week and lately experiencing symptoms of STI. Is she infected or possible UTI only? It would be of great help if you can answer my question. Thanks

To be checked for STI she should do a vaginal secretions culture.
UTI has symptoms of difficulty in urinating and burnig and pain when urinating.
