How Can A Shingles Like Rash On The Body Be Treated?

I went to the doctor on Wednesday because I thought I had a precursor to Shingles coming. After the examination he did not think it was shingles. Tonight I now have a rash developing and believe it is shingles. I just purchased some aspercreme and was wondering if that would help with the symptoms until Monday when I can get back into the doctor?

welcome to HCM.i have analysed your query.kindly confirm with your doctor before taking any medications for shingles.If you have shingles,your doctor may prescribe antivirals like tablet acyclovir 800mg four times a day for 10 days.
