How Can A Skin Burn Be Treated?

I burnt my hand with hot oil and have healed rather well iver the past 9 weeks. The skin has come off and I have treated it well but now I had a small water blister on the one finger. It dried up and came off 2 days ago. I see now that another one has formed again in the same spot. What causes this? Surely it is not normal.
