General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Parent,

If the skin is intact, and there is only redness, she will reqiure to keep the wound under water for some time, then she will have to apply a skin cream used in burn wounds. She will also require some to take painkillers if the pain is unbearable.

If there is a bubble formed, puncture it with a clean object and apply cream for burns or mercurochrome paint.

Antibiotics are required only if there is delayed wound healing, for which infection could be a cause.

I hope I have answered your question, withing your family good health.
