How Can A Soft Lump On The Temple Area Be Treated?

My wife has a soft lump on her left temple,we went to the doctor.as it start as a tiny dot 3 months ago and now it is the size of a dime ,but he did not want to removed as of yet as it sit very near or on the vein, if she combe her hair it bleed by accident sometime,The doctor refer us to a dermatologist and he took a sample and waiting the results, What could it be? or can the doctor take the whole thing out eventually or only some of it? Thanks

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a reactive lymph node. It can be due to an infection. I recommend you to do a complete blood count to rule out an infection and take proper treatment.
