on Dec 17th, 2017 I stepped down off my truck and twisted my right ankle I heard a crack then fell on my left knee about 5 to 10 min later my ankle blew up I was taken to the hospital where they took x rays of my foot and recommend that I see an orthopedic as soon as possible being that this happened on my job I have to wait for a workers comp number before I can see a doctor due to the holidays and the snow I have not got a number yet and I still have not seen a doctor my foot still hurts and cant put my foot flat to the ground to walk and when I stand or leave my foot down like 15 or 20 min my ankle and foot starts to swell back up and it feel like it is burning
1. Take rest for few days. 2. Apply ice or cold compressions. 3. Use compression: An elastic compression wrap will help decrease swelling and should be worn for the first 24 to 36 hours. 4. Elevation of the limb to decrease edema. 5. Use painkiller drugs like Diclofenac or Aceclo-MR AC twice a day for five days.
If still symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
