How Can A Surgical Scar Be Treated?

I recently had a total knee replacement. During physical therapy, I had an incident and was told that I may have torn some scar tissue. Will it heal on its own, or will I require further Surgery? I have a Dr s appt on Monday, but would like an opinion now.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Healing of torn surgical Scar depends on depth.
If it is much deeper then stitches should be done.
But if it is only superficial then dressing and immobilization will heal.
So consult your doctor and get done clinical examination and depth of torn Scar.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
