How Can A Testicular Lump Be Treated?

Hey I just noticed that there is a new lump on my scrotum and it has me worried. Since I am too embarrassed to ask in person I thought that I should ask online. The lump is small, painless and is only on the skin. Is this a big problem that requires attention? Thanks, Cameron.

Hi
Thanks for trusting HealthCare magic for your health problems.

Can you please describe exactly where is the lump? Is it inside the scrotum of on the skin of scrotum? Lump is increasing in size gradually or only during coughing? Any discharge is coming from the lump or not? Reducible or not?
As per your description lump may be infected hair follicle (boil) or inguinal hernia.
In both scenarios treatment differs.
So further information is required to make proper conclusion.
