How Can A Twisted Ankle That Hurts And Gets Tender Be Treated?
HELLO... I M 30 YEARS OLD AND ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO I TWISTED MY ANKLE AND I THINK I TWISTED IT COUPLE MORE TIMES IN THE SAME YEAR. I NEVER REALLY TREADED IT, AS I SHOULD OF, ICE, REST ETC AS I NEVER KNEW BETTER. SOME TIME AFTER IM ANKLE STARTS TO HURT, HURTS MORE IN THE COLD AND WHEN ITS HOT BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. IT ALSO FEELS TENDER AT TIMES IT CLICKS AND THE MOVEMENT ISN T AS GOOD AND FAST AS MY GOOD ANKLE. WHAT COULD IT BE?

It may be due to fracture or ligament tear.
For further assessment you may require MRI after orthopedician consultation.
For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.
Restrict your movements.
Use support while walking.
You may require surgical intervention after consultation in case of fracture or tear
