Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It is looking like he has a localised but a comparatively severe anaphylactic or allergic reaction the symptoms that he is suffering from.
Due to the toxin that is left under the skin by the wasp sting is causing the burning sensation along with bruising and numbness..
Do not worry as it will get better gradually..
He can take anti allergics like Allegra [Fexofenadine] or Benadryl [Diphenhydramine] etc to reduce the allergy symptoms..
Along with it do cool compresses over the stung site..
Avoid scratching the area as it can cause infection..
Try to convince him and consult an Emergency room so that they can give a steroid injection and intravenous anti allergics for faster resolution of the symptoms..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
