Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your query you have symptoms of wound at the injection site which seems to be due to hematoma due to injury to soft tissue or vessel or infection at injection site.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist/general physician once and get the area of damage examined. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics in case of infection. You should apply Thrombophob gel and ice pack on the site of swelling. Maintain complete hygiene. Apply numbing gel on local area as well. It will take 2-3 weeks to heal it properly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
