How Can Abdominal Pain And Bloating Be Treated?

I recently had an endoscopy with colonoscopy given all clear. Yet the pain and bloating I experience in my stomach is still there. I eat a healthy fibre diet and not constipated so at a loss as to what it could be. I would appreciate your input. Thank you, Elle

Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
There are many reasons that cause abdominal pain.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-drink plenty of water or other clear fluids to help reduce abdominal pain and bloating.
'Avoid pain medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications until you know your pain isn’t due to abdominal conditions .
-Avoid solid foods for a few hours in favor of softer, bland foods such as rice or applesauce.
-Try taking gas-reducing medications, such as simethicone drops or digestive enzymes, to help relieve bloating.
If it doesn't relieve visit a gastrologyst.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
