How Can Acid Reflux Along With Backache Be Treated?

I have acid reflux and last two weeks I had a burning stomach sensation. I also had a pain in the back of the right side of the neck and it went down to the right arm and legs. I than worked out and that night felt like I could hear my right leg veins throbbing. The next day I had a tingling sensation in the bottom two legs. Today just wondering if the burning pain in the stomach is acid not ovarian cancer?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern. I would like to know your age for further management.
Based on your symptoms, you seem to be having a acid peptic disease or GERD.
You need to take a course of Proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole for two weeks.
Along with this kindly get your blood pressure checked and an ecg, this will help us in ruling out any heart conditions. and do let us know if you are taking any more medications.

If the problem still persists, kindly get an upper gastro intestinal endoscopy and an ultrasound abdomen. This will help us further in diagnosing the condition.
Reduce intake of spicy foods. Eat small portions of meal at regular intervals. Avoid fasting for long durations.

Hope i have answered your query.
Thanks for choosing HCM
