How Can Acid Reflux And Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

I have had years of swelling with eating anything with the smallest amount of salt, heartburn, stomach pain and continual hairloss. My doctor has done test after test with no answer. Most of these started 18 years ago after I had my son. Tired of being in pain and being bloated all the time.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to a possible metabolic disorder or fibromyalgia. Coming to this point, I would recommend checking your vitamin D plasma levels, vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency and thyroid hormone levels. If these tests result normal, I recommend considering fibromyalgia as a possible cause of your complaints.

Hope to have been helpful!
Wishing all the best,
Dr. Iliri
